Pros

- Access to leadership and openness (the successes and challenges) - Opportunities to grow and develop, working alongside fortune 50 clients - Initiatives that support D&I and ESG

Cons

- Had a client loss in the summer, which was challenging for the business and did impact morale. The firm has reacted swiftly to try and restore this.

Hands down the worst consulting company in town.

Pros

Absolutely none that I can think of.

Cons

Lack of diversity & no Women in Senior VP Positions. If you’re a woman, you will be over worked and under paid + under valued. Furloughed twice in less than a year! UK Head of Human Resources is not a Human Resources specialist, just moved up the ranks therefore recruiting the right people, to do the right job has fallen short ever single time. The level of disrespect and disregard towards staff from senior leadership is appalling. Not a COVID friendly place to work at. I can go on and on, but the other reviews have covered most of the cons….. I can see the US team being dismantled and this being solely a UK based company. All projects are under staffed, job titles frequently altered to meet client expectations.

In Spanish, Proxima means "next", as in "next company, please"

Pros

Becoming an expert in doublethink at a level that would make Mr. Orwell proud; examples are plenty and below is a selection of the finer ones: - the management cares deeply about the wellbeing of its workforce, except when it comes to paying them competitively, reducing the hours they have to work on understaffed accounts, or creating a safe working environment by encouraging all employees to vaccinate against covid (in line with CDC & WH guidance) - the best way to grow a company is by forcing its workforce - whether the run-of-the-mill middle management types or capable loyalists who in all likelihood would have retired as Proximites - to leave (refer to other reviews for posts that have much more vividly captured the utter disgust people have felt about the furloughs) - the management is allegedly one of the most transparent in consulting, yet there's very little visibility into important topics such as performance evaluations (better work = smaller pay rise), profit share (record profit year didn't result in record bonus year), or sales outlook communications (poor mgmt decisions causing enough employees to leave to the extent you can't even staff projects became "we are sold out")

Cons

mostly see Pros, but also ad hoc and comically wtf moments like WITHDRAWING money from employees' bank accounts on pay days OR suggesting to employees who have just resigned for greener pastures to take a contract position to cover for the gap they just left behind OR openly asking employees during company forums to post "positive" review here in an futile attempt to drown out the factual ones...
