      Few opportunities for advancement and no vision, but can provide experience

      Pros

      Large company, global presence, mature service catalogue and established vendor/supplier relationships, deep technical expertise across many IT areas and specialities.

      Cons

      Overly and unnecessarily politicised for a privately-held org. Disturbing lack of vision - as a result rarely ahead of the market and slow to react to the market. No name recognition in the US. Leadership often prefers opportunities for grandstanding vs creating long term sustainable and profitable business.

      Pros

      Co-workers were great That's really about it.

      Cons

      There's too many to count but here are the biggest ones... - Lack of training for new hires - Lack of recognition for employees - No work life balance - expect to be up at all hours and have no time for family - HR is a joke - There's still a lot of "good ol' boys" sales mentality, so women beware.

We invest heavily in the development and training of new hires and existing employees. As a global company, we're able to send new and emerging leaders to regular trainings to develop new skills and competencies designed specifically to help them succeed in their roles. We also provide and maintain an on-demand learning platform called Dimension Data University to provide training sessions on everything from technical skills to professional effectiveness. The tool was recently recognized as the 'Best Use of a Learning Management System' at the LEAD2019 conference in March.

      Pros

      The ONLY pro I could find was that you got weekends and major holidays off.

      Cons

      - Negative work culture - Doing more than the job description says (ie: "Light processing" turns into all on-shore processing) - Severely understaffed and overworked - Lack of cleanliness in the building due to cutting costs for janitorial/cleaning duties
