Pros

Co-workers were great That's really about it.

Cons

There's too many to count but here are the biggest ones... - Lack of training for new hires - Lack of recognition for employees - No work life balance - expect to be up at all hours and have no time for family - HR is a joke - There's still a lot of "good ol' boys" sales mentality, so women beware.

We also provide and maintain an on-demand learning platform called Dimension Data University to provide training sessions on everything from technical skills to professional effectiveness. The tool was recently recognized as the 'Best Use of a Learning Management System' at the LEAD2019 conference in March.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
