In my experience, the workplace culture here felt cutthroat and, at times, subtly hostile. As a male massage therapist, I experienced what felt like discrimination and a persistent sense of distrust toward male staff. There seemed to be underlying gender tensions that made it difficult to feel respected or fully included. While the owner promotes a “no drama” policy, it often felt like this translated into suppressing legitimate concerns rather than addressing them openly. Conflict and grievances did not feel safe to bring forward, which contributed to an unhealthy environment. Ultimately, working here was a deeply stressful and, at times, traumatizing experience for me. I would encourage prospective employees — especially male therapists — to carefully consider whether this environment aligns with their needs before accepting a position.
