Pros

Decent Pay rate for work. That is literally it.

Cons

Night Calls 3-4 nights a week. Any and all suggestions for improvements get ignored. It's a constant Blame game. Everyone is out for themselves. Management is just Awful. If your not one of Managements Pets then you don't exist, or aren't important. You are a number. I could go on and on but I think you see where I am going with this.

Pros

Exciting future outlined for our new group that transferred into Lenovo. Good product line and roadmap.

Cons

After 3 months, work started to get outsourced to China. A voluntary transition package was offered, but it would have been better to keep the jobs in the US.

Pros

Competitive salary Great protect and attack strategy Fiercely competitive

Cons

Continually rewards bad middle management (CEO and Executives seem to manage the business well but drive and reward bad behavior in middle management). Talked a good game about work /life balance then expected 80 hours a week. Moving HC to China.

Thanks for your time with Lenovo and best wishes. I wouldn't say it is pointless as we are reading your comments and we appreciate it. Regarding work life balance, it is important that you address that with your manager directly as global roles have a tendency to include off hour calls occasionally/weekly. It is important to manage this properly. Also, your headquarters for Finance comment is confusing. Finance Operations and accounting is primarily based there, but there are plenty of finance folks elsewhere in other areas. Regarding middle management....we just ran an employee survey, all managers are responsible to review and share the results. They will see input from their staff and must make appropriate adjustments. Thanks for your comments
