Pros

Free service, Pto and float time. Not really strict on attendance. coworkers were great to work with most days.

Cons

Job description is a lie. I worked as a Direct care Specialist ( Receptionist ) but was also a sales rep, customer service rep, refund department, admin and coordinator. Making pennies!! They never wanted to give raises because they're "OTHER OPPORTUNITIES" to make more money was what I was told. Worked long hours and was expected to cover other clinics due to short staffing. Was pushed constantly to get google reviews however we can whether it be real or fake. Oh and only positive reviews. So most of those reviews are fake on Google and I wouldn't be surprised if some of these postitive Glassdoor reviews are fake as well. Lots of run around answers from management. Lots of inconsistencies. Lots of unnecessary steps to do anything, pretty much. Seems to be a thing the company likes to do. Lots of micromanaging. Lots of tattletal. Very high turnover rate. Unrealistic expectations. Very stressful and pretty much left the clinics to fend for themselves when there's a problem. More work load was always added but no compensation for it. This company is only good for getting your experience in and running to something way better, as you should. They know that but they don't care.

For over 20 years we have worked to become the best in the Aesthetic industry. Ideal Image celebrates team members who deliver incredible results and rewards them handsomely with annual bonuses, great benefits, and the ability to move within our company to improve and enhance their career endeavors. Whilst each of our Associates are responsible for their unique efforts, positive outlook, perseverance, and dedication, not all individuals will be able to maintain the level of excellence and commitment that is necessary to maintain a level of satisfactory performance that is necessary to be successful at Ideal Image. As a successful 20-year old company with over 2,500 Associates in the United States and Canada, we are always grateful to provide an incredible opportunity to celebrate our Associates' personal and professional achievement throughout the Ideal Nation!

Pros

Team members in the clinic are amazing. Area manager is reasonable and understanding. Working 10+ hours a day gives us an extra day off (pro and con). Love what I do. Free yearly treatments are a great plus. Monthly bonuses were great. Pay is actually decent if target is reached.

Cons

Corporate continues to make drastic changes in short periods of time. Sales goals have become highly unattainable which makes it impossible to make any commission. Employees used to receive monthly bonuses ($200-$1000), but the bonus structure continues to change so that we never receive any bonuses. Company has actually TAKEN AWAY bonuses after paying them. Hours are impractical (early mornings and late nights). Clinic is open 6-7 days a week (60-80 hours per week) All employees work well over 40 hours per week and most of the time with no breaks. Holiday schedule was recently changed... for the first time in Ideal Image history employees are required to work Memorial Day, Labor Day, day before Thanksgiving (until 8pm!!), Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve (also until 8pm!). Also, there have been several times employees have been sick and still required to work due to the “needs of the business”. Prices of services are increasing so that it is nearly impossible to sell anything (compared to competitors in the area). Promotions are confusing and not helpful; no clarification offered from upper management. Constant customer service complaints. Upper management attempts to “optimize the schedule” which means providers and sales consultants are able to be double and triple booked with no break... this leads to rescheduling of guests and unhappy, verbally abused employees. CEO seems to be more concerned with numbers than customer service or employees. I have worked here for 3 different CEOs, and he is the only one who does not value his employees. All other CEOs THANKED their employees for their hard work and dedication, sent us a small gift for Christmas, and would give free lunch to employees on employee appreciation day and event days. Doesn’t seem like much but it truly goes a long way to show that we are appreciated.

Thank you for leaving such a thoughtful review- we value the feedback. We appreciate all our teammates do to further our joint effort to bring our amazing services to new clients every day. With such growth, comes natural change, which we look to as an exciting opportunity. We are sorry you did not feel that true appreciation communicated for a period of time. In the past year, we have upped our communication game to better convey any changes as well as the gratitude we have for every member of our team. We hope you have been able to recognize these efforts, and will continue to leave us constructive feedback. Please email HR@idealimage.com with further insight. Thank you.

Pros

Free services but you will be charged for them if you leave within 90 days of receiving a treatment. Keep that in mind before you accept one.

Cons

Complete lack of professionalism at every level- starting at the very upper management. These are the most dishonest group of people I have ever seen assembled together EVER. The final straw was when the current President resigned. She was the only one with a shred of integrity. Run, don’t walk!
