      Pros

      Nice working class people Work from home policy on occasion After you have been there several years and establish alliances, you can kick back if needed

      Cons

      No strategic vision- at the top or in regions. Reactive 100% Senior management is all about status quo, CYA and lack basic business sense. It’s who you know, not what you know. No education, no real work experience. No work/life balance- people work 24/7-expected, not appreciated. Management: Politics, unethical plays and back stabbers. Most unpleasant and miserable group I’ve ever known.

      Growing, Growing, Gone!

      Pros

      Hands down, some of the best leadership I've witnessed. Many of the teams here have great leaders from the supervisor to the senior vice president. Staff are remarkable. Nearly every individual contributor I've interacted with is an A-Team player. The men and women who work here pour their heart and soul into what they do, and it shows every single day. Notwithstanding the cons, probably my favorite corporate culture ever.

      Cons

      No strategic direction. The company was in a tight spot around 18 months ago, and swapping out John A. was their response. The continuous shuffle at the top indicates the board is operating this company as if the rudder has fallen off the ship. The aging and apathetic distributor base, clutching onto the Tirelli agreement, will sink this ship. That we heavily depend on these folks who don't seem to care much beyond their own individual exit plans is one of the scariest things about working here.

      The Most Abusive and Sexist Place I've Ever Worked

      Pros

      Great benefits -- particularly for those who display longevity in the company, high pay for the title, comfortable chairs, and air conditioned offices.

      Cons

      Abuse of employees with a high work ethic, severe sexism, little to no tolerance for work / life balance for employees (for management, however, it seems to be highly encouraged), low pay for the hours worked, refusal to promote employees (in my almost ten years there, not one person was promoted in my entire department).
