Completely Disorganized

Pros

There is free food. Everything else is bad.

Cons

The human resources department is terrible. It is completely disorganized. You have some of the most underqualified people running it. They need to invest more in the HR department. Also, in January 2015, their system was hacked and a lot of credit card information was compromised. Also, the office is a pig sty. Anyone can walk in and out.

Pros

The opportunity to learn more about Italian novelties is huge. I feel that this is to compensate for the minimal salary and lack of quality employee benefits like 401k and monthly bonus sales incentives.

Cons

Low salary, poor schedule and lack of support from HR and corporate managers. Very new company still working out the kinks. The environment is grueling and relentless. It's not a managerial position, the position for for a person who prefers no format, structure or guidance. The turn over rate is very high, five of my colleagues left to find other opportunities in the eight months I've been here.

Very slow except weekends.

Pros

Great place to learn about Italian food and wine.

Cons

The company is really cheap. They only give a 20% discount to employees on food and 10% on wine. They have one restroom for 700 employees to use. They offer insurance but its so pathetic that most buy their own. Mangers have to work 9 hour shifts and have to pay for any meals that they eat. And you don't make enough money there to buy anything they sell. The only time they are busy with exception of pizza and Pasta is on weekends.
