Pros

You will never be bored.

Cons

Everything else. They are quick to “promote from within” but then don’t give the employees the support or training to do the actual job. When the employee then does not perform at the highest level according to them (based on the lack of training), Eataly starts taking steps to fire them. This is a revolving cycle in every department and position and has led them to their terrible track record of high turnover. This group is full of immature, unprofessional employees who promote drama and favoritism and treat their jobs and careers like high school.

Pros

Coworkers are diverse, talented, and passionate about cuisine. The store itself is great as a guest.

Cons

They’ll hire anyone, they pay below market rate, the family meal is worse than school lunch, bathrooms and break rooms are always filthy.
