Pros

Good technicians, steelmaking, tooling, and mining equipment mfg capabilities. Excellent benefits if you were able to join prior to 1998. The pension is now closed for those outside Sweden

Cons

It appears that the company going to be broken up. As a result, people are being very conservative and not making time sensitive decisions. Good people are fleeing as top management has moved into a palace of a headquarter building and Olaf is installing his cronies.

Pros

Great hours if on day shift, good training provided to all employees, very good benefits and insurance is really great. Pay is good after you've been there for ten years.

Cons

If a woman the pay is not equal to the men, if a woman you do not get promoted like the men. If your not in the buddy system you will not last long and get overlooked.

It's no wonder this company is falling apart!

Pros

Only positive thing I can say about this company are the benefits. Because it's a European owned business, the insurance and paid time off are better than some.

Cons

Where do I begin? They are full of deceit and empty promises. In the beginning, they tell you how easy it is to move up in rank, that they love to promote from within. But you see people who should get promotions passed over for someone who is chummy with a higher up yet has no real work skills. Ethics are a joke and so is company policy. They train you on procedures that get "bent" every time a customer calls to complain because they're scared to lose business but the sales reps practically give everything away free anyway. There is no real structure, it just depends on who your manager is and who trained them. Everyone does everything differently and each person thinks they are right. Speaking of managers, they do nothing but talk about non-work related stuff all day. They sit around chatting about Facebook or sports or restaurants and then get all frenzied at the end of the day acting like there's so much work to be done and expect everyone else to pick up their slack. Well if you did your job throughout the day instead of BS-ing, you'd actually get stuff done. There is absolutely no accountability. Be wary of anything the recruiter promises when bringing you on board, you will probably never see any of it. Get it in writing. Oh and last but not least, they move you around like personal property from one state to the next. Doesnt matter if you sold your home to relocate or left all your family behind, they will move you in another 6 months somewhere else because they are going under and need to consolidate offices. There is no stability and don't let them lie to you about it. Wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to work here.
