Pros

Receives discounted and free services for massages and facials. Pleasant atmosphere to work in. Lovely caring coworkers that become family.

Cons

Inconsistent hours and days. No vacation time or health insurance. Only 48 hours of sick time a year that does not carry over.

Pros

Good for just out of school therapist and co-workers

Cons

Owners, management, lack of communication, lack of professionalism, therapist are treated to just overwork until an injury occurs and to shut up about it, management and owners put a wedge between front desk and therapist, never knew what was going to happen who was coming or going. PAY is the lowest with promises of bonuses that never happen. Paycheck was never accurate and always cut short with a fight. Owner and management not taking responsibility for anything always passing the blame to basically an empty office. Management is never on the same page so consistancy and accountability do not exist.

We at Massage Envy Franchising are sorry that this has been your experience as an employee in a Massage Envy franchised location. The employment experience is unique from one independently owned and operated franchised location to the next. As a whole, franchisees aim to deliver on the Massage Envy brand promise--we help you take care of you--to their employees and we recognize that you didn't feel that promise delivered. We'll share this feedback with the regional leadership for the La Habra area. If you'd like to share any additional details with us via email to meemployeebrand@massageenvy.com, we'll gladly pass them along as well.

Pros

Free monthly massage or facial Friendly staff I'm sorry I really can't think of any other pros to meet the 20 word minimum

Cons

Low pay with high expectations, you only get one 15 minute break per shift. If you plan on being a desk associate the booking program is very confusing and customers are often impatient in waiting for you to learn.
