Pros

Great discounts on services and products. Decent pay if you're a front desk associate (if you're good at sales).

Cons

Not reliable pay. Massage Envy doesn't pay its estheticians hourly. If your client doesn't show up, you don't get paid. The communication with the front desk and licensed professionals could improve. There were many front desk scheduling errors which made my job frustrating. There were a few times I arrived at work and my clients had cancelled earlier that day (the front desk forgot to call me to say they cancelled). What a waste of gas to drive to work...and NO there isn't any compensation for such errors.

Pros

All you need to do is show up and massage. If a client is a no show you receive half of the pay. (7.50) You stay booked most of the time and you work whatever hours you want. Its a good place to get your feet wet.

Cons

You can get burnt out really fast. Clients can be demanding. The pay isn't that great compared to the work you are putting out. $15 bucks a massage and you live off the tips which can be either really good or really bad. Its not a steady paycheck. Its like a massage farm lol
