Pros

Positive work environment. Can be fully booked if applied consistent effort and attention to clients. Great team and management. Wonderful clients. Continuing education account to apply towards CE classes. I love the front desk. Health insurance available. Best owner and spa I have ever encountered, and have been in the industry for some time, so that is saying something. Always learning new things to grow further has been super fun.

Cons

I don't have any days where I dread going to work. I can honestly say I'm truly content. Have been there for over 2 years and continue to be pleased on many levels. Only thing I'd add is if you can up sell, you have the ability to increase your revenue at the top of the pay scale :) so that is something I strive to do.

What you'd expect for a no-skill job

-Schedule flexibility -Pay rate is good when comparing other jobs for people with no degree, students (myself), no skills/bottom level skill sets -Co-workers are usually awesome (they were the reason I stayed so long) -Employee discount $20 one hour massages/facials $30 ninety minute massages and 50% off Murad products

Cons

-Watching the owners and upper management make decisions was comparable to watching a circus act -Owners have no idea how things actually work in the clinic and have unrealistic expectations -Poor training for new hires (likely due to not appointing anyone into a trainers role) -High employee turnover rate (strongly influenced by poor training) -Company does not value it's top performing employees

Pros

Good locations, usually awesome coworkers, great clients. Definitely has potential as a wonderful career. Wonderful place to start if you are fresh out of school.

Cons

Inexperienced management making decisions without consulting everyone and then claiming that they have talked to us. Holds teambuilding exercises and promises everything will be better and then turns around and does the opposite of what they promise.
