A sinking ship

Pros

Free treatments IF you can get your manager to approve them (this takes weeks/months) and IF they can squeeze you into the schedule. I loved my clinic team but that was the only pro.

Cons

This company is going downhill fast. They act completely broke and threaten to not renew the lease in your clinic if you don’t hit monthly targets. You will be told that you are solely responsible for your P&L, yet you have no control over your team’s salaries, the medical director’s salary, the rent of your location, how much the company spends on marketing, etc. They will tell you to make repairs in the clinic yourself rather than calling a professional to fix facility issues. They will tell you not to order so much coffee creamer to save money while spending tens of thousands on marketing. You will get zero leads sent to the clinic and will be expected to cold call all of your existing guests to try to get them to buy more. Your manager will only reach out when you’re under-performing. You will never get a raise or a promotion, and the bonus structure will keep getting worse to where it’s unattainable. You will deal with unhappy, sometimes threatening clients and get blamed when they leave a bad Google review. I could go on and on. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Not what it could be

Pros

The patients and people I work with (in clinic) are amazing.

Cons

This company operates unethically. They abruptly changed the pay structure, raising sales goals and altering bonus payouts in a way that makes earning any realistic monthly bonus virtually impossible. These changes significantly reduced employees monthly income, all without advance notice, while simultaneously increasing expectations for sales and workload. When the newest CEO, Jason, took over, he promised that employees would be the heart of the company and that people would come first. Unfortunately, his actions have not matched his words. Instead, the culture has shifted toward treating employees as nothing more than revenue generators, with little to no appreciation, constant policy changes without warning, and unattainable goals. If you value honesty, stability, fair treatment, and achievable expectations, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Ideal Image may have great potential, but under its current leadership and practices, it’s an extremely disappointing place to work

Avoid This Company

Pros

Salary is fair Employee discount is fair If cleared, you get free treatments when there is a training

Cons

They falsely display a "one team" environment, however it's a constant battle of virtual vs clinic. Corporate supports virtual in every case I've seen, leaving the CUSTOMER FACING clinic struggling. Clinic has to schedule for virtual, handle their returns, handle their scheduling, and clean their mess when they incorrectly sell (which they do all the time.) You're running on a skeleton crew of 2.5 nurses to treat the entire clinic of clients. When one gets sick, good luck with all the angry guests who can't get in for another 2 months because that's how far you're booked out. Lack of corporate support when handling escalated guests. I've been harassed, intimidated, and threatened. Corporate just tells you to make it right with the guest versus banning them - creating a hostile environment. When reporting team harassment to DM and HR, nothing came of it. There was no investigation nor corrective action despite ample evidence. They changed the bonus structure which negatively affect Clinic Managers, despite selling 3x as much as my highest selling MP, my commission was 1/3 of hers. Therefore, taking away the incentive to sell. In addition to this, I was required to terminate a Med Pro with a clean record due to "falsification of documentation." In addition to this, the med pro who supposedly did this, did in fact tell the Clinic Educator what must have happened when this supposed situation occurred. However, the SR Clinical Educator, who performed the investigation without the Clinic Manager, also had forgery and falsification of documentation when signing the CM's name. Nothing came of this. I was hired on told 40hr work week and 1 Saturday a month. This quickly changed to 45-50 hours and most Saturdays. Be prepared for significant lack of corporate support, this place will drain the life out of you.
