Pros

The projects are really interesting. I think that in external business units, not in HQ in Netherlands, the burocracy is not so much, the visibility over the whole IT is so big. I think that this bank is making a huge effort trying to be an agile company.

Cons

It's a bank, so the most of the times the development is not so easy. Try to download libraries is not pretty straightforward because it is not allowed to download everything.

Pros

Salary high compared to peers, easy to get by, no pressure working environment. A real good place to retire. Work life balance.

Cons

Performance not recognized, people with big mouth do well. Ridiculous performance review process. Pretty bad company with people without talent being promoted.

Pros

Decent benefits, though healthcare went up dramatically. PTO is very good. Management is usually nice to work with and they are understanding and good with work home balance. Good place for a working mother or someone who plans on having kids..nice maternity leave. 5 days of paid volunteer work. Very green company. Advancement for women are greater then men. Large % of management is women who tend to advance women.

Cons

Every year they pile more work on employees to increase their ROI...at some point you break....but that is the plan so they can hire someone with a few years experience at a much lower pay. Starting to really metric us to death. Over the years I've seen an increase in hours w/ no pay raise. 3 years with no raises at all and when we get raises they are not equal to inflation or close...1 to 2%. This is the financial services industry so I hear it is across the board. Lots of outsourcing.
