Pros

Helpful co-workers. Wide range of access to tools and financial data. Fostering team spirit is a big deal for management.

Cons

Glass ceiling with regards to specific type of work (i.e. private banking). Limited learning on skills outside of selling and account management.

Ask for a team interview with peers.

Pros

ING is a large corporation with big company benefits and HR services. The management is community-service minded - for example, they offer 40 hours per year of paid time off to do volunteer service with an approved organization.

Cons

Along with big company benefits come rigid bureaucracy and red tape. There is a "not invented here" culture - new ideas are not welcome. In three years with the company, I never saw a manager go to any kind of leadership training. That's why I recommend that you request a team interview, and ask your future peers what they like and dislike about the manager and the work.
