      Company ok, depends on your area. Pay not great.

      Pros

      There seems to be promotion from with in and room to move around, but you have to be in your current position 1 year before they will consider it.

      Cons

      The pay is very low compared to other companies. you have to wait at least 1 year to move. I heard teh last 2 years there have been almost NO raises or bonuses, which they promise when the hire you on.

      Pros

      From a corporate employee perspective ING FP is not afraid to invest in your professional growth. If you keep pushing to improve and increase your value, they will recognize it when opportunities open. From a field sales perspective, you have an organization with a highly ingrained culture toward allowing a rep to manage a very independent practice.

      Cons

      Small critique that may not have a great solution: Because the culture is independent and empowering, you run the risk of individuals, both internally and in the field, making snap decisions without seeking appropriate feedback from their colleagues.
