Pros

good work life balance, good challenge.

Cons

A lot of talk about the culture and values, but senior management is not showing the good example. Pampered style Know that one day ,this will go bad. Too much senior management and too much hierarchy blocking progress of becoming a true Agile organization. Now it's only patchwork of Agile in same old structure.

Pros

For a Bank, pretty innovative and disruptive. Adopting Agile from workfloor till Board of Directors. It is about engineers and less and less about managers. For years now, ING is transforming into the digital era.

Cons

Banks are to shrink and ING is shrinking, especially in Holland. This is tough but necesarry/inevitable. For engineers, ING is getting more and more interesting, for managers (project/process), opportunities get less and less.

Pros

Ability to travel abroad and pursue opportunities in different groups within structured finance departments globally. Many workshops by Moody's analytics that offer opportunity to strengthen technical skills.

Cons

The pay isn't particularly high. The exit opportunities are somewhat limited as this isn't a typical American investment banking position.
