People let you free and culture of lack of decision

Cons

Politics leads to illogical decisions and anti-business decisions because of bosses rivalry. Boss just try to defend their own spaces, leading to illogical/arbitrary (ie failure of projects just to keep his power)

Pros

With the recent separation from parent ING in Amsterdam the company is working hard to manage on its own. Culture is being reinforced.

Cons

With the recent roll out of Continuous Improvement everything is driven off Metrics that did not exist a year ago. Kinda like measuring snowfall in the midst of a blizzard. Most local senior management appear afraid of those in the New York office.
