I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Vodafone (Newbury, England)
Interview
Online assessments, video interview and then through to an assessment day at Vodafone HEad office in Newbury.
The assessment day consisted of three separate assessments a group exercise, a presentation interview and a CV interview.
The group exercise you need to make sure you stand out and get ideas through quickly.
The presentation you choose from four topics to do a presentation on I chose IOT and so did many others.
The CV interview was about your experience and allot of situational questions.
Interview questions [3]

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Vodafone (Londra, Inghilterra) in Jan 2017
Interview
The typical procedure followed by the majority of companies for Graduate positions included a variety of tests (the logical/reasoning was more tricky than the average), a video interview a half day assessment centre. The assessment centre included a group project, a one-to-one interview and an individual presentation. The interview consisted of competency-based questions and didn't go into much technical depth.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Name a unique fact you know about Vodafone (video interview).
Many questions aimed at making the candidate express the ability to prioritise customers and customers' satisfaction by providing examples of previous working experience.
Hi there, thanks a lot for leaving a review. We're happy to hear that your experience was overall positive during our recruitment process. Welcome to the team!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Vodafone (Newbury, England) in Feb 2017
Interview
(expanded from my previous published interview)
I was invited to a Video Interview through an external App (Talent Spot)
Video Interview:
I'd say this was fairly average in terms of the questions
Doing some research on Vodafone and their services offered really helped with this stage as they do ask how much you know about them and what kind of technologies you're interested in in the Telecommunications area
From this (After roughly 1-2 business days) i was invited to the Assessment Centre:
At the assessment day we had the opportunity to talk with some of the graduates, although some were not on the specific scheme for technology.
This day consisted of 3 stages: A group discussion task, 1-1 interview and a presentation. but there was a campus tour included to get to know the people and the environment.
Group Discussion:
A brief was given on the day about an upcoming technology with Vodafone. The task was to just discuss the potential benefits, impact and changes.
So for instance, how does this new technology change how we interact with customers? how can we advertise this? do Vodafone lose business with this technology?
My best piece of advice is to not necessarily lead the group. They want someone who can use good supported points to direct the groups discussion or even reflect on other students and their opinion. Make sure to voice the facts clearly and think through them first.
Some prior research really helps with this task, looking at what Vodafone offers and how can really add to your opinion of the product and services and how they will change and it certainly will show an interest into the role
1-1 Interview:
These consisted of some basic competency questions, like why Vodafone? When have you received/given good customer experiences?
It's okay to think about these questions before answering! They're looking for how you fit into Vodafone and where you want to be in your career.
Presentation:
This section was probably the harder in my experiences. Much like the group discussion a brief is given about a client and technology, the aim is to present this technology to the client as a solution through Vodafone.
Be sure to prepare and make notes on the brief to support your wording. always be clear and its alright if you get caught up in your sentence just relax and carry on.
The Tour:
The tour was great actually, the campus really has more than you can ask for from a Canteen to a campus Salon and Gym! but also this tour is given by more current grads so this is a good time to get all the questions in and see what its really like without feeling supervised by the assessment team.
My main piece of advice: do some simple research, what do Vodafone offer (both services, mobiles enterprise solutions) and see what can be used.
Hi there, thanks a lot for leaving a review. We're glad to see that you enjoyed the day at the Assessment Centre and had an overall positive experience. Welcome to the team!
