I applied online. I interviewed at Life Time (Las Vegas, NV) in Mar 2016
Interview
The first interview is a test where you have to train one of the training staff and they evaluate if you are a good enough trainer. The second interview is formal and with the club manager. After that there is a metabolic test on the treadmill, a "move it" session with another manager and then a lot of precertification that has to be done on the computer.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Life Time
Interview
5 interviews. While it was long, it was very thorough
Started with a phone call, then two in-person interviews. One usual one with the department head and another practical where I had to train a trainer as well as go up to people working out and approach them on the floor with questions about their experience at Life Time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Life Time (Chanhassen, MN)
Interview
It felt very rushed and impersonal. Threw me right into the practical assessment scenarios without giving me a tour of the facility or any other background info on how the club is run. Felt like they didn't care if I wanted do there. More like they were trying to intimidate me.
