I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LA Fitness (North Slidell, LA) in Feb 2015
Interview
It was a basic interview process with basic questions. What are your strengths, weaknesses, etc. There was additional small talk involved. The entire process lasted probably 10 minutes, if that, and I was called back two weeks later when an opening became available. There's not much you can do to prepare for this job other than maybe show a decent interest in the job you're applying for. (Even if it is only front desk).

Question 1
Which aspects did you like from your last job? Which ones didn't you like?

Interview
In person interview with DM, and then the Regional DM. Seemed very professional but when I did not hear back in the time frame allotted, they never sent an email or any notification that I was not their ideal candidate.
They want a candidate that has more hiring and firing experience. If you don't have that, be prepared to address as to why.
It was a laid back interview. I handed my resume to the manager on duty and he scheduled an interview for the next day. I believe the reasoning was because this was a new district and they were placing a high priority on finding responsible staff. The interview was brief and mostly covered what duties and responsibilities I would be performing.
