I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Kennesaw, GA) in Jun 2012
Interview
It was an easy interview. The manager at the time hired fit looking people. The manager that came after only hired people of a certain skin color and gender which kind of weeded out the original front desk people. It really depends of the personality of the manager doing the hiring. You may want to feel the manager out first and build repoor.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Columbus, OH) in Oct 2013
Interview
Initial phone interview with Regional Fitness Director. Second phone interview was with the Regional Fitness Director, as well as the Regional Manager (their boss). 3rd interview was again with the Regional Manager, but face to face. Interview was not too difficult, the only problem I had with it was when I was offered the position, I was forced to leave my current job with no 2 week notice. They made it very clear that if I wanted the position, I had to come within 5 days to start.

Question 1
Why fitness, why sales, what can I do to help them?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2016
Interview
The first interview I had was short and lacked in detailed description of the job. The next interview I had was with the VP. Again, this interview was short and seemed to be rushed. Overall the hiring mangers were professional and honest.
