I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Blue Origin (Grandview, MO) in Jun 2025
Interview
First interview was about 30 minutes over the phone with another Engineer. The next interview was all on Teams and had to give a 30 minute presentation followed by five individual 30 minute interviews. Presentation had to include 5-6 specific items. Several days later this response was emailed, "We wanted to inform you that the position has been temporarily closed as we reassess our hiring timelines. However, we plan to reopen the role at a later date and would love to keep your application on file for future consideration." I probably spent over 15 hours getting ready for this interview and the company spent 3-1/2 hours interviewing me.

Interview
Their interview process is ridiculous and will take 4+ months. You will be required to provide multiple essays and numerous Teams interviews along with providing a 30+ minute PowerPoint presentation. The process took so long I had to accept another position with a different company.

Question 1
How would you resolve a disagreement with another employee?
begins with an application review, followed by a recruiter or phone screening. Next come technical or behavioral interviews, sometimes including assessments or case studies. Candidates may then meet with team members or hiring managers. After final evaluations and reference checks, a decision is made. If successful, the candidate receives an offer; otherwise, a rejection notice is sent.
