Pros

Salary, staff benefits, the people.

Cons

I have worked for Vodafone for just over a year and it's only now I've realised how naive I was in thinking this company - given the size it is - must be a 'well oiled machine'. I work in assisting customer's who have foolishly signed up for Vodafone's broadband. This sub-standard product along with the sub-standard customer service we give has led to despair. No one in the office really knows what is going on. Procedures once learnt and given time to sink in are immediately changed (this happens on a daily basis). This is the reason the salary is so high, it's just a retention tool as anyone with common sense would know that the place is shambolic and to 'jump ship' at the first opportunity. I am currently looking to join any business who can actually communicate with their staff and not change procedure on a daily basis.

Pros

The office, the canteen, the gym, the showers (I can bike to work), the library, the mini meeting pods, the large professional meeting rooms, the pit stop, the people you work with are awesome, the product set is huge and at the top right of the Gartner magic quadrant, the general vibe in the office, the professionalism, the aspiration, the ability to work flexibly, the career opportunities, the focus on charity and giving something back and fund raising, the benefits are good too!

Cons

Process can be a nightmare. If you're not part of the steamroller you're part of the pavement.
