Poor Interview Process

Pros

None that I know of.

Cons

I was told by the female head of the department for which I was interviewing that the Company had “too many old white guys.” I am a 40+ white male so I knew instantly I wasn’t getting the job. The process itself was incredibly slow, spanning over 4 months with little in the way of updates. At the end of the process which included multiple phone interviews and an onsite interview I heard nothing. The company simply failed to ever contact me again.

Pros

Stable payment days, home office, company laptop and mobile expenses covered, 1 month salary as a bonus a year

Cons

No processes at all, incomptetent management, organisational chaos, unevenly distributed workload in terms of time and staff, idiotic administrations, useless statistics created for countless hours but then the work non-progression is blamed on you. Killer boring meetings on topics you should use email, emails on topics you should have a meeting on. Distracting open office environment. Absolutely no sense to prioritise

Pros

Great induction culture for new joiners at any level of experience.. Makes sure to make a new hire to feel at home.. Lots of freebies fro. Day one..Good work is given due credit by management, although office politics does prevail at various levels which perhaps does everywhere...Lots of fun activities at work every week.. Overall a great work culture. Having said what I have below in con, it still is a good place to work if not great.

Cons

When I left, the Exit process was the biggest con that I had to face and was most unexpected from a company of such repute. First of all even though I had served 60 days of notice period it was considered to be 58 days and they claimed back two days worth from my FnF settlement.. I mean if the weekends in between are considered part of these 60 days then so should the last two days(weekends) of the notice period. Secondly during the exit clearance even after proper handover there were a few teams upfrontly adamant of not giving clearance for xyz reasons of their own convenience.. Thirdly when the FnF arrived after a month of the exit. They had conveniently reclaimed the relocation benefits that was given during joining, even though I had fulfilled the clause of minimum time working with them after claiming relocation benefits. Of course I had to fight back and forth on mails to get that back but why such mismanagement and mistreatment when someone is leaving on a good note.
