Pros

In the US, Vodafone Americas employees seem to full of excitement compared to their European counterparts. I guess it is somehow a reflection on how regional economics are playing out now.

Cons

There seem to be a thick layer of F-band managers, especially in the UK. They sometimes overlap responsibilities and many get too hung-up on titles.

Vodafone NZ - a shambles

Pros

- Some great, well-intentioned people - Flexible work options (work from home, hot desking, etc) - Excellent facilities in Auckland Central (elsewhere, not so much)

Cons

- An abysmally run change programme post-TelstraClear acquisition - Lack of foresight as to market trends - All talk no action - Appalling customer service - Poor internal tools and technology - Focus on reducing headcount over satisfying customers - A Mobile company trying (badly) to do Enterprise, TV and Broadband - People really are just resources at Vodafone New Zealand
