      Pros

      Great people, if you are looking for a company to help to progress you then Virgin Active is the place. However, be ready to move around from club to club if progression is your goal.

      Cons

      The company is at an awkward stage where it isn't sure where to fit in the market. Hopefully things settle after the sales of clubs to David Lloyd have gone through.

      Fantastic place to learn, develop and be who you are

      Pros

      Having worked here for over 5 years it has been an absolute please. I started my journey as a fitness coach and haven't looked back since. A company where hard work and willingness to learn is truly recognised you can move up the ranks into management. Along the way there are great tools to learn and develop for all roles. Best of all is the people you work with and learn from. Over the years I have made some true friends and learnt skills I never thought I would achieve. Virgin Active is a company that recruit people with a certain type of DNA that epitomises our brand with a work hard play hard attitude. Once you get to management it doesn't stop there. I'm now on a future leader course which goes through various skills ensuring you to be ready and the next General Manager at Virgin.

      Cons

      With the recent sale of clubs opportunities to move up the ranks appeared to have slowed down from what they were. New roles such as mine as Assistant General Manger are now available which bridges that gap for the next move.
