You are (kind of) expected to do over your contracted hours at some points, staffing is always an issue that leaves you with a lot of stress.

We'd never expect our employees to work outside of their contracted hours, however due to the nature of our business, sometimes we may ask staff for additional flexibility with their hours. Pros

The people are amazing have made some great friends working for VA. The experience, the opportunities to progress both in the UK and the wider territories, to be able to be yourself and put your on spin and style on your role. Support from your own club as well as the head office team to be the type of leader and person that you want to be.

Cons

None, having worked for another big health club for 10 years, it is easy to say that Virgin get it right and there isn't downside to working for VA.
