      Many promisses, reality poor

      Benefit package, plenty of opportunities,

      Cons

      New organisation was supposed to be faster, more delegating etc. Just the opposite happened. Red tape all over the place, investments stopped, employees dehonested. Very very very Swedish. pretends to be international company, but total SMT management is Swedish. Recent management style in Tube is closer to military academy then modern enterprise.

      Pros

      Good technicians, steelmaking, tooling, and mining equipment mfg capabilities. Excellent benefits if you were able to join prior to 1998. The pension is now closed for those outside Sweden

      Cons

      It appears that the company going to be broken up. As a result, people are being very conservative and not making time sensitive decisions. Good people are fleeing as top management has moved into a palace of a headquarter building and Olaf is installing his cronies.
