      Beware of new CEO and New Management Structure

      Pros

      Benefits are good...for now! They are in the process of making them more costly to the employees.

      Cons

      Unstructured at the Sr. Executive CEO level and trickle down effect is like a toilet flushing that is clogged! If you are American, there is no advancement into Sr. Management positions or higher. New leadership is pulling from his international team rather than promoting extremely qualified American employees. No green card - > No opportunities!! Company is driving age of company down. If you are over the age of 48, do not apply or beware cause you will be offered an early retirement package.

      Great company to work for, work life balance is strong.

      Pros

      The work life balance is well above average. Sandvik is a great place to learn about manufacturing. They value their employees and promote from within.

      Cons

      The office politics can be annoying. They are somewhat rigid in their structure. The salary was less than expected. They follow the mother plant's guidelines with little question.

      Pros

      Decent pay and some chance to move up. This company is going to be around and I have a future.

      Cons

      Sandvik tends to find the worst un-talented management and promote them. They make bad decisions and all follow them like rats. You can be rewarded for doing nothing and promoted for making mistakes. If you do a great job they will keep you where your at and not advance you. Politics, politics, politics. very very tiring to have to deal with back stabbing at all times.
