Pros

It looks good on a resume

Cons

- Management can be awful and unregulated. Discrimination occurs and they say it wasn’t intentional so it’s okay - Keep your head down and mouth shut. Aim to fly under the radar, and stay middle of the pack. If you over perform you may be punished just as much if not worse than if you under perform - overworked and underpaid. Do not expect work life balance. - Claim they pay hourly including overtime, but management often caps hour submission at a certain level. Therefore, don’t expect to get paid for all the hours you actually work. - don’t anticipate management to help or coach you - culture seems very dependent on your location, rely on culture reviews accordingly. - Big push for monthly quotas, yet told by tenure employees almost 60% of business done in the last quarter. Set expectations wisely.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. What you've described is very concerning and not the type of behaviour that is encouraged or tolerated at Salesforce. Employees can and should report any behaviour that is misaligned to our values to their Employee Success Business Partner (ESBP) or anonymously through our third party provider Ethicspoint at http://www.salesforce.ethicspoint.com. Further, our policies are very clear that all hours worked must be logged — these policies are strictly enforced. If you are being encouraged to work hours that you aren't logging, or having logged hours reduced, please reach out to your ESBP as soon as possible. If you don't know who your Employee Success Business Partner is, please log an urgent ticket in Concierge.

Pros

Kind of fun culture, great product, good name recognition.

Cons

This is a great place to work if you are starting your sales career. If you are a seasoned sales rep and are used to making good money, RUN from this place. They fuel the stock price by over-saturating sales territories to the point where the only accounts you have are tiny companies where it makes no sense to have the product. The sales teams are a revolving door of people coming, getting frustrated, then leaving. People who play politics and suck up to management are rewarded, people who actually work hard are not. Zero trust internally at middle management, anyone that doesn't close their eyes, ears, and mouth and blindly follow middle management's knee jerk direction changes is managed out of the business. Zero, I mean ZERO work/life balance. Text messages and constant contact late nights and weekends to make mediocre pay.
