Pros

Its not an easy job, but in return for the long hours you get great exposure to different industries, business models and overall building of professional management skills. Moreover, the people you work with on a daily basis are intelligent.

Cons

At the end of the day, not very meaningful work. There are a lot of politics as your progress in your career, but that's life in corporate America. There are a lot of people crying on here about the firm. To me, the rules of the game are pretty well known to those who want to advance. The question is whether you want to play the game?

Pros

Tools for learning new skills were plentiful. PwC has made strides in seeking out and hiring staff of greater diversity that mirrors the staff and management of the clients they serve. Allowing alternative work schedules and commute opportunities for staff with extenuating family needs has contributed to employee retention.

Cons

Archaic views toward women that limit career growth. Young women and men today desire to have healthy careers and family life. While they don't mind working hard conflicting demands of excessive work hours and extended travel time are huge contributors to the exodus of many who are not willing to sacrifice quality home life for a career.

Pros

Exposure-There is exposure to many projects, many different kinds of clients, and many different styles of management. Co-workers-Coworkers are most likely competent, smart, well rounded people. Knowledge Sharing- PwC invests in technology and the distribution of guidance to remain on the forefront of the changing accounting environment.

Cons

Work hours- I think the amount of hours and the intensity at which those hours are spent working are grueling. Consistent messages - There are so many initiatives floating around at the same time it is often confusing to decipher the firm's goal.
