Friendly and helpful staff team, Never a dull moment as job role is so varied. Everyone in the company is approachable and there is so much opportunity due to the growth of the company. Company is really supportive of personal growth and personal touches to the role.

Cons

A lot of information to take in over training and remote working whilst training is not for the faint hearted you have to be driven and determined to succeed.

I have just accepted an Energy Specialist Role within Octopus Energy after a really well thought out and clear recruitment process. Despite the current circumstances, I was able to meet a lot of the team and have a really informative - and actually quite fun! - discovery day via Zoom where each task was well prepared. Every individual I spoke to seems to genuinely enjoy their job and are passionate about their part to play within Octopus. Every step of the way I was well instructed, informed and encouraged by Tayla at Instant Impact who made the thorough recruitment process that little less daunting. I'm excited to start my role within the company. Even if it is remote at first, I'm confident that the support structure they have in place will guide me through and make the new start as easy as can be.

Cons

Hard to think of any cons at this stage! I don't think the recruitment process could have been made any easier.

Pay structure - I would have been on more money if i stayed as an installer taking my cost of livings than working my way through two promotions Installer/TSE/area manager which is disheartening. We have the new pay matrix and though i'm confident my team is high performing and i implement ideas across the region - I feel this is overlooked and i'm not seriously being considered for a performance related pay increase even though i'm hitting all but one KPI and exceed behavioural & core expectations.
