Pay - the lack of a pay structure and the fact (atleast in my team) you only had a pay review annually where you couldn’t request a certain salary, was extremely off putting. There’s also a lack of transparency around salaries.
Management - certain management within ops was brilliant but within other teams, there’s a very hands off approach, leaving you to your own devices (which is great) but when you need support there’s nothing there. Stepping into a new role you’d expect some training not just being thrown into the deep end.
HR - how a company of this size functions without having an HR department I don’t know. How can I raise an issue about my manager when they’re the only person I can go to? Or their manager who isn’t impartial? As some people have said it is just one big boys club.
