Working hard is always recognized and rewarded - there is a lot of freedom and you really can make what you want out of this job! There is constant support and encouragement to learn and progress . Octopus hires people who are passionate about what they are doing so it is such a positive environment to be a part of.

Cons

There is a lot to learn at first but there are so many people to ask for help so isn't a negative if you are prepared to put in the work!

- The recruitment process may seem long but is definitely worth it as it allows both you and Octopus to determine if the job is a fit. - The interview process was unlike any I have experienced before, it was really relaxed and felt more like a conversation than anything else - Mollie from instant impact was amazing from start to finish, dealt with all of my questions and concerns and gave amazing advice!

You won’t find another company like Octopus Energy. The people make it what it is. We all want to make Octopus a success. The drive is there to make our work not something we just turn up to each day but rather a mission to be the best energy supplier around - focussing massively on customer service. The use of the ever evolving tech improves the customer experience and our working environment. There’s nothing worse than working for a company with age old platforms and restrictive processes. We are super needy when it comes to tech solutions so having an in-house team is amazing. I love the fast paced environment and that there is always something new on the horizon - if you’re a 5 year plan person then Octopus ain’t for you. If you have fire in your belly, want to work hard and change the world then it is.

Cons

Working remotely means it’s rare all TLs are in the same place at the same time in real life. Would be nice to have more meet ups.
