      Division 5 "Consultancy" Firm

      Pros

      None that I can think off. Junior staff are generally good

      Cons

      Whilst NTT DATA UK may try and sell you the idea they run a consultancy firm (you'll hear words like advisory/strategy) nothing could be further from the truth. There is almost zero consulting bar body shop. This place is more like an agency than anything else. The leadership team, VPs etc are inept. All talk no ability with clients, clients actively laugh at the senior "leaders" behind their backs.

      Worst experience of my entire career

      Pros

      Decent benefits and base salary.

      Cons

      People, silos, time to turn around items for clients, hostile work environment, internal competing companies, impossible to understand commission structure, company offerings and finding information. Good old boys network from legacy Dimension Data personnel. Company messaging is ideal but has zero room to follow what they breach and ZERO human compassion. Not many people are deemed “good enough” to be employed there and ridiculous amount of firing people. Internally NTT employees believe they are so great that their customers come second. It’s more about internal politics than client centric.

      A company with “leaders” who “transform” the organization at least once a year!

      Pros

      New leadership team every year to keep things interesting. The new leadership cohort is ex-McKinsey and Company. Leadership wisdom is transformation introduces career opportunities to the affected employees, which really means showing employees the door and making them find opportunities in client companies and competition.

      Cons

      Never ending transformations. New leaders, new transformation! 2 years ago, leaders kept spewing Digital everything, last year it was Intelligent everything, and this year it is Service Tower. I beckon next year will be Smart something.
