Pros

As a former contractor working for them, I have no reason to recommend working for MODIS.

Cons

Their margins are high; for the position I was contracted out for it was almost 80%. They will promise you increases in wages and then not deliver. They messed up my Federal Tax withholding resulting in an extended period of time of my having to play "catch up". Toward the end of my contract, I found out that MODIS had reimbursed the client part of MODIS' fees while I had paid for a year's living expenses (in the client city where I was working) out of my own pocket. Also, when I advised my recruiter that I was not being paid my earned and due overtime because the time-reporting system at the client site was locked down at 40 hours per week in violation of Federal Wage & Hour Rules, MODIS did nothing.

Pros

I've been working with Modis for 1+ year in the SDC Denver office. It shows why so many people give such bad reviews and it has 3 stars on Glassdoor. In 2018 more than half of the office quite. New management at SDC sucks and they don't listen to any feedback or concerns that its employees give. Sexual Harassment at work are ignored even after going to HR and complaints being placed by multiple women in the office. No idea how Modis did got get sued by some of the women for management not taking action or taking concerns/feedback/complaints seriously. This company is a JOKE no one stays longer than 1 year. STAY AWAY!

Cons

Pay rate is super low and commission structure is the worst. You will only get paid out once after a candidate has worked 120 hours. Other companies pay out each month in commissions.

Pros

Gym, coffee, cell phone reimbursement

Cons

Do not put yourself through the misery of working for this failing company. As enticing as it may sound with a gym, free coffee, and a sonic ice machine, don’t do it. 7 out of 18 people quit in the first 5 months that I was there. Zero expectations are set about metrics from day one, other than “make 40 calls per day.” Absolutely no sales or recruiter training ( or training manual) with the exception of 2 conference calls per month. In the Dallas office, there is no leadership or mentor to assist with training, etc. You will be set up for failure from day one. There are HR issues constantly with sexism and inappropriate behavior by management. If you DO choose to go through with working for this company, say a prayer for yourself. You will definitely need it.
