Pay could be better, but pretty good schedule flexibility.

Pros

Can accommodate your schedule pretty well. Ok with you working few hours. Pretty easy to take time off for vacations and such.

Cons

Pay is very low for the type of work you do, so, unless you're just out of school, or have significant schedule limitations, I wouldn't recommend it.

Pros

They hire everyone, even those of us just out school. Most of the therapists are team players and help each other out. No back biting. They keep us pretty busy. I have great clients.

Cons

There is no making your own schedule. I was told by my senior manager that I would be on nights (3pm-10pm) for the first month or so and when school started back up in the fall I would be moved to some days. That was 6 months ago... I don't ever get to eat dinner with my family, and since family is first I may have to say good bye to Massage Envy. Management should not promise therapists something and then not come through.
