My experience at Life Time Fitness was pleasant, but didnt offer much room for employee advancement.

Free membership, Friendly community, Very in-tune with member satisfaction, Overall they have a honorable name to work for.

Cons

Dont offer raises, They refuse to pay for overtime, No many positions you can take to move forward in the company, Unorganized Child Center.

Access to top-of the line fitness equipment and classes. Because the company is growing there is potential for growth within the company.

Cons

There are not many cons other than the fact that salaries are low and I had an innapropriate boss that made my experience there unbearable.

Pros

The members at the club were great and it was a pleasure teaching. It is a beautiful, clean facility. They also extend free membership to their employees which is a nice perk.

Cons

The management at Life Time is very challenged. There is little to no communication between department heads and instructors. There were several occasions that I did not get paid and trying to straighten it out was a mess. It took months and countless calls to their corporate offices. Maybe the con to working at a huge corporate gym??? They also expect a lot of non compensated time commitments and for a part-time job it was just ridiculous. Maybe best suited for people without kids.
