Pros

One sight, nice brands, compensation is decent, large head office so questions can get answered fairly fast, easy merchandising

Cons

For a company that states two of its characteristics as imaginative and entrepreneurial,  I have never seen such intense micro managing and lack of flexibility ever. 26 different KPIs!!! Thats right....26. And upper field will choose which KPI's to hold you accountable for when it's most convenient.    They always state that "people matter" yet there is an abundance of manipulation, poor communication and lack luster associate relations from the upper field team. You are extremely disposable and are made to feel like an outlier if you don't perform consistently despite whatever uncontrollable factors may be impacting you.    Introduce all the new ad campaigns, new POS, tablets, lens pricing strategies and whatever extra bells and whistles (that you seem to slam out all at once).....But none of that will cover the lackluster field leadership teams you have employed across the brand. There are quite a few upper field team members in the Canadian zone that DO NOT deserve their role and they abuse it and lack integrity.

Pros

It's a great place to grow professionally because of the dual experience with a doctor's office and retail floor.

Cons

We were always understaffed and underpaid because regional managers didn't give store managers enough payroll or hours to work with. This created a tense environment.

Pros

Flexible schedule and goal oriented company

Cons

Training is lax and not followed up on. Company doesn't give employees the opportunity or time to train effectively. More retail than an eyecare office. Pay increases are few and far between. Commissions are too low to warrant drive.
