Was my store and its staff... which since the essilor merger and lab layoffs have all moved on including myself. I would have to say scheduling is the only plus.. only retail gig that is done at 4:30 on a Saturday.

Cons

Upper management are complete morons!! They are going through downsizing their business footprint. A lot of people lost their jobs. Good people. Not sure this is the company I would want too work for!! The new CEO wants to turn a profit quickly, so don't be surprised if more layoffs are in the future..

great benefits to full time employee's that's all.

Cons

Zero communication , can't be profitable without cutting hours( so the share holders receive a profit because the can't do it any other way), zero training, Regional Managers that you never see and are completely oblivious to whats going, on in their own stores, the only people that receive promotions are former employee's of the gap, the company our current regional came from. No yearly assessments, just a unstructured mess.

Good talent, recruiting does a good job getting the right people. However thats it besides a somewhat good training program that you have to do at home because they only give you 20hrs for a 60hr training.

Cons

Look at the reviews they all have one thing in common. Company doesn't value it employees. they took commission, hours, weekends, work extended hours and treat us with so much pressure. FOR WHAT. They have 85% of the global market were it takes 5.00 to make a lens or glasses and want to make 500% profit.
