Pros

Work from home, Actual work consulting customers is fun

Cons

Management is unavailable. I have never spoken with my manager directly. Training is absolutely horrible. It does nothing to prepare you for the actual daily work with customers. They have grossly over hired limiting any sales earning potential. Leads are limited to those whose conversion isn't above 40%. Despite the fact that many leads are horrible to begin with. There is blatant favoritism- best leads are clearly given to the people who have been with the company the longest. The turnover is astronomical. I would never recommend any friend getting a service at this company. Pure greed. Overselling so customers can't get appointments after paying in full upfront. Making customers take out LOANS when they could get started with and interest free payment plan. Completely unethical.

Pros

When the entire center hit our center goal, the commission was good. The guest service consultants and providers were awesome.

Cons

SEVERE BULLYING WITH THE UPPER MANAGEMENT TEAM INCLUDING THE LEAD CONSULTANTS AND MANAGERS. In my time, I watched multiple girls quit for being bullied over things as simple as a misspelling. Management and lead consultants would walk in 15 min late but would blast the lower level employees and nurse practitioners in a group chat for being even 1 min late. Commission stolen by lead consultants regularly.....we would talk about the sale, quote the guest, draft the contract, and certain lead consultants would demand to take over at the last step so that the sale was in their name. Absolutely zero respect for personal time. Upper management called themselves the "elders" and regularly hung out but told everyone else they could not be friends, going so far as to pin friends against each other or threaten to withhold a place in rotation or promotion if the employees remained friends. Rotation was supposed to be based on who had the best sign rate and average invoice but THE SAME lower level consultants were skipped even though they were outperforming the others. If you have an issue, you are ignored and become the target of harassment and bullying so bad that it's almost unbearable. I was bullied into silence many times. A provider spoke up to an obese guest who had been tricked into purchasing $13,000 worth of Coolsculpting even though Coolsculpting is specifically not for weight loss and not recommended for people not at their goal weight. The guest was shocked she had been told she'd lose weight and the inches and wanted a refund. The provider was quite literally banished and had commissions stolen left and right. This specific franchise location consisting of jacksonville, st augustine, and orange park is very culty. Management literally screamed at one of my coworkers for interrupting during a meeting, waved her finger in her face, and humiliated the girl.

Pros

The relationships you gain with your coworkers are like no other, they’re like family. The company has superior training and trainers. It’s a great entrance into the aesthetic world.

Cons

I would have to say over the past few years a lot had changed, I cannot say it’s for the positive. Currently the company’s directive is to make as much money as possible by getting as many people to purchase, and in and out of the clinic as fast as possible. While I support the need to make money and be efficient, the appointment times are shrinking to an amount that makes it nearly impossible to stay on time and forget having the opportunity to establish a good relationship with the clients anymore. Corporate is yet in the same sentence asking for 5 star google reviews. I feel as if it is counter productive to make nurses run around like crazy and rush appointment times but then ask for 5 star google reviews. We have also been asked to double and triple book ourselves with the comment (clients can wait just get them in) this is by far an unsafe practice and causes anxiety for the employee and dissatisfaction for the client. In regards to COVID, I believe our company could’ve done better. Corporate doesn’t notify any of us if an employee (we spend 10+ hours with) has COVID. I don’t expect them to disclose a name but like any other organization they should say someone you were in close proximity with has contracted COVID. So unless the employee tells you, you have no idea you have been potentially exposed. The new virtual sales could improve as well. They need better education prior to selling as many clients come in with the wrong areas purchased or not enough product purchased. The client comes in and is rightfully angry that they just spent a bunch of money and still need to spend more to achieve desired results. There is very limited opportunity for growth within the organization and very little if any raises, if you are lucky to get a raise it’s less than yearly inflation. I will say that Pre COVID this was the place to work! We were appreciated in the clinic. I never thought I would leave. Occasionally we would get lunches, coffee, little gift cards, and prizes for achieving different goals. Now we don’t get anything but yet corporate has still done very well. Actually for Christmas the company didn’t give their employees anything, instead on our behalf donated to a charitable cause. I’m sure the tax write off was great for the company but your employees felt as if it was a slap in the face. I know we can’t go out to dinner or have a pot luck but a $5 coffee gift card would’ve shown that you appreciated us. We’re the ones hustling to treat these guests but we never get “good job guys” but instead “you need to do more and do better”.
