Pros

If you are in a center where goal is attainable you can make amazing money! Fantastic medical field experience and I was so fortunate to work with a great team of ladies. Take this job if you need industry experience~met some great consumers in the market who would be great to network with!

Cons

Really screen what the goals are for your center before accepting a sales role. You have to hit 90-100% of goal to get paid any commission-you are not paid on all sales. You can work 50-60 hours a week and live off the draw which is not enough for most seasoned sales professionals to live off. If you are in sales...your drive should be money! Keep in mind you are in a center with all woman and this can lead to back stabbing/lies and drama. Be cautious! Ideal Image has potential to be an amazing work place. Unfortunately they are in a vicious cycle of negative reviews within the centers and online. The core issue stems from upper management. They gravitate to selecting terrible managers to direct over staff. If you want to resolve the issue and start changing this you have to look at where it starts. Management is dictator style and will fire any good employee at any time over things that make you shake your head, and could ruin a very good employee career reputation. Everyone at Ideal Image is constantly replaceable in management eyes! Ideal Image is a culture of Greed and Ethical Indifference! They are indifferent to what the truth really is. Upper management does not treat employees well and direct management will face pressure from the top and simply point fingers to his/her staff. Terrible communication within the company. Where are conference calls to your staff everytime there is a change or new launch of product? If expectations change there is no verbal notification, you will only find out after written up & this style is supported from the top. Lack of organizational structure within the centers. Where is a center manager onsite to help know what the truth is within centers? It's too easy for everyone to say so and so said this or that and it's exaggerated or lied about. Corporate talks to everyone via email as if screaming at you constantly. Peers who are not as educated as yourself or as experienced are allowed to treat you like you are scum to walk on. Bad culture and unethical situations are going to happen within Ideal Image! No corporation is perfect & we are all aware the grass isn't greener on the other side. There is a percentage of good companies out there that function differently and try to find that before taking Ideal Image opportunity. They do not inspire or motivate people properly. It's fear driven and and you will never be treated as a professional. There is constant talk about growing and becoming a leader in the industry. Have you (Ideal Image) read case studies on certain huge companies whose doors were forced to close due to bad management? This could happen to you (Ideal Image)and destroy your dream & passion. Do you want to be the next case study that higher education people read and teach about as to why there was failure?

Pros

I loved my co-workers! One free treatment a year (although friends at other companies have unlimited treatments so I don't know if this is even that great!)

Cons

I have never worked for a company who was so disrespectful to their employees. In my opinion they are a very unethical company that worries about their revenue and that's it. They have awful management! It's a little scary that a manager has no training in medicine is giving direction, they often are giving directions that are unsafe practices. They are continually changing their policies and way of doing things. They are rolling out new services too quickly and the training sucks!!! It gives you enough information to be dangerous but not really know what you are doing. The preceptors that are over you and answering questions probably learned the procedure last week and aren't really sure of the answers to your questions but give you the best advice they can with the limited knowledge they know. The medical directors over the centers aren't trained in services so they don't know the answers to questions. It leaves you feeling stupid while you have a customer sitting waiting for a service and the entire company looks incompetent because it is so poorly run. A lot of mistakes are made because of lack of education, and paying customers are often unhappy and management is unwilling to work with them because it would hurt their total sales for that month it is horrible! Turnover is HIGH, and it is difficult to find new employees (probably because they treat their staff as if they are disposable). Of the providers in my clinic all but 2 of the providers have been desperately searching for new jobs. I see positive reviews over the past few weeks and in my opinion it looks as if the company is trying to increase their rating by getting the management to write reviews. I wouldn't trust the positive reviews I am sure the company is asking employees to give positive reviews...they did this when reviews by customers weren't good by giving them free product to get online and write a positive review. When I read all the really negative reviews it is completely accurate and exactly how I felt working with this company. I would only work here if I was desperate. If you do work here don't plan on getting a raise EVER...they try to give bonuses so they don't have to give raises but you may work really hard and think you have sold enough for the bonus and they will find a way not to give the bonus to you. If you are desperate ask for a lot of money up front knowing you will never get a raise. If it were me I would ask for at least 50$ an hr. They will probably pay you that too because they are so desperate!

Pros

If you want to hate your life ideal image is the perfect place to work.

Cons

The company promises benefits and bonus that will never happen. to work here is like working at a day care, you have to earn everything! for a bonus you must hit center goal(which is too high) or treatment goal. so you don't get a bonus. for the Christmas party you also need to earned. the management is TERRIBLE!!! the company doesn't care about their employees only on how to make more money. every year they add more service and more work to employees with the same salary. in order for you to get a raised here you must sale even if your not the sales consultant. Not only but also most of the treatment that we offer doesn't even work. We have customer complaint everyday. benefits is awful. They don't match your insurance . conclusion do not work or buy anything from this company. Ideal Image has been truly the worst company I have worked for and I don't recommended to anyone.
