Pros

GREAT pay if you're a good sales person. Best commissions structure I've seen for a sales position. A lot of good improvements made in 2015. Flexible hours if needed. 10 days of PTO. Out of the office by 6 most days. Free treatments for laser, injectables and other cosmetic treatments offered. GREAT team environment and beautiful people to work with. Opportunity to meet and build relationships with so many diverse individuals. Ideal image is coming to be a known name and leader in the industry. It's a proud feeling to be working with a company that is expanding at a rapid rate and growing the business to be the best. I appreciate that department managers are typically easy to get in touch with wether it's marketing, HR, IT, solutions team. These team members are always able and willing to help with quickness!

Cons

Management structure, no raises for RNs/GSC. Little to no opportunity to move up. Some employees have been with the company for years and have never relieved a raise. Somehow the company still manages to keep them somewhat happy to stay, but you do see a lot of turnover from this. LSC- management is very results driven and lacks the skill of a strong communicator and motivator. A lot of consultants feel extremely pressured to hit a target, resulting in unmoral behavior to appease their targets and manager. The company focuses a lot on close rate but there is little to no effective coaching on how to improve. This may stem from poor training in the beginning. Most LSCs feel blindsided their first few weeks and are bitter about lack of effective training. The regional managers don't really have the time to invest in their employees. They are extremely busy managing medical, sales, operations, training, staffing, scheduling, payroll and guest issues for 7-10 of the centers under them. You have to be an autonomous, self-driven individual to really get results without feeling the pressure.

Pros

FT with benefits is considered 32+ hours per week. I usually work four days, about 35 hours per week. I prefer working longer days and having 3 days off. The company gives 10 days PTO and 10 paid holidays per year. I like this job because the guests are usually happy to be treated. I build rapport with guests and see them every couple of months so they come to be familiar with providers and get excited to see us. There are opportunities to make commission with upsells and often times we receive monthly bonuses. Compensation is decent. I have been employed with the company for 8 months and have not yet received a pay increase.

Cons

High turn over with nurses. I think it's hard to keep nurses because many do not plan on making a career out of aesthetic nursing.
