Pros
If you are in a center where goal is attainable you can make amazing money! Fantastic medical field experience and I was so fortunate to work with a great team of ladies. Take this job if you need industry experience~met some great consumers in the market who would be great to network with!
Cons
Really screen what the goals are for your center before accepting a sales role. You have to hit 90-100% of goal to get paid any commission-you are not paid on all sales. You can work 50-60 hours a week and live off the draw which is not enough for most seasoned sales professionals to live off. If you are in sales...your drive should be money! Keep in mind you are in a center with all woman and this can lead to back stabbing/lies and drama. Be cautious! Ideal Image has potential to be an amazing work place. Unfortunately they are in a vicious cycle of negative reviews within the centers and online. The core issue stems from upper management. They gravitate to selecting terrible managers to direct over staff. If you want to resolve the issue and start changing this you have to look at where it starts. Management is dictator style and will fire any good employee at any time over things that make you shake your head, and could ruin a very good employee career reputation. Everyone at Ideal Image is constantly replaceable in management eyes! Ideal Image is a culture of Greed and Ethical Indifference! They are indifferent to what the truth really is. Upper management does not treat employees well and direct management will face pressure from the top and simply point fingers to his/her staff. Terrible communication within the company. Where are conference calls to your staff everytime there is a change or new launch of product? If expectations change there is no verbal notification, you will only find out after written up & this style is supported from the top. Lack of organizational structure within the centers. Where is a center manager onsite to help know what the truth is within centers? It's too easy for everyone to say so and so said this or that and it's exaggerated or lied about. Corporate talks to everyone via email as if screaming at you constantly. Peers who are not as educated as yourself or as experienced are allowed to treat you like you are scum to walk on. Bad culture and unethical situations are going to happen within Ideal Image! No corporation is perfect & we are all aware the grass isn't greener on the other side. There is a percentage of good companies out there that function differently and try to find that before taking Ideal Image opportunity. They do not inspire or motivate people properly. It's fear driven and and you will never be treated as a professional. There is constant talk about growing and becoming a leader in the industry. Have you (Ideal Image) read case studies on certain huge companies whose doors were forced to close due to bad management? This could happen to you (Ideal Image)and destroy your dream & passion. Do you want to be the next case study that higher education people read and teach about as to why there was failure?
