Pros
The only pro that Ideal Image has to offer at this point in it's history is the free laser hair removal. There USED to be a long long list of wonderful things I could say about this company, but unfortunately since the "new president" took over in 2011, that list has since deteriorated.
Cons
There is a sincere lack of leadership within this company beginning with the new reigning terror of a president. He does not listen to any input from the rest of upper management, regional directors, salespeople or corporate employees. This is a one-man show and you better be ready for that way or no way (even if its wrong, takes a loss, or doesn't work). The ego of one man runs this company. What once was an amazing proud culture disappeared and the morale of the company is so low that more employees than I can count have considered in the past year or are now looking for positions outside the company. Pay has been cut, employees were let go who had dedicated their lives to the company, and direct management has been left hopeless as their voice cannot be heard. The benefits are awful, very expensive and continuously change confusing employees and their families as to what they have and can afford. The compensation plans are terrible---- unattainable goals, promises of good things to come that never come to fruition. Work-Life Balance? Is that a real thing?? Not if you work for Ideal Image... because you'll be forced to work nights, weekends, mandatory overtime, inconsistent schedules, etc. I wish I could go back 3 years and enjoy that time when this company was amazing once more, as it was such a great time for me and the company--- but that ship has definitely sailed and I see it sinking in the distance.
