High stress, low pay

Pros

You can make good money if you can work 20+ extra hours per week Consultations set for you

Cons

Low pay, working on a 40k per year draw, very low commission for the industry, they provide consultations but the leads are low quality- they market to poverty level poor people and make the products look cheap (they’re the most expensive medspa in the us)- so you’re not set up for success. I’m always a top performer with sales and I struggled to make 60k per year. There are very few consultants making 100k and many who do cheat the system and work excessive hours to do so. Also, no Christmas bonus is a slap in the face for how hard we work. At least give us a gift so we feel appreciated. Maybe buy us lunch from time to time- without it being a contest.

Pros

Free treatments, great coworkers--some guests really do gain a whole new level of confidence from their treatments.

Cons

Various business practices can be shady at times. It's interesting that six glowing 5 star reviews were all posted May 13, 2019 despite most reviews being far more negative. I've seen consultants not receive any commission after their center meets its $100k+ goal. Upper management makes sure no one feels they have job security. When the center is busy, there is no work/life balance--you will be asked to come in on your days off, and expect plenty of 10 or 12 hour shifts. My interview was misleading and overhyped my compensation. Constant policy changes and turnover make scheduling and rescheduling guests (many of whom have spent thousands for their services) a constant headache.
