The group does have some very exciting visions for the future of trading technology

Cons

The group is very acquisitive, having acquired two dozens companies over the years. Any company newly acquired by the Group would go through "transformations", which could be disruptive and unsettling for everyone involved.

Great vision but not a people centric company

Pros

Great vision of the market. Career opportunities. Opportunity to exchange ideas with smart people in other firms which have been aquired. Product company. Will invest in re-engineering of products to see return in 5 years or more.

Cons

Poor communication to staff. Uncertainty about when and if bonuses will be paid. Lack of autonomy and empowerment causing severe decision making bottlenecks and ultimately very high levels of attrition (25 - 30% range). Little regard for work-life balance of employees.

Learnt what type of company that I won't work for again in my life while getting paid by ION.

Cons

Lack of growth, Communication skills from management like that of a 1 year old, No opportunity to progress career wise, no training opportunities, an HR department as incompetent as a division 5 coach working in the premier league
