Pros

Money and their hikes used to be decent

Cons

ION started deducting your paid leaves if you don't show up in office which is so criminal. Furthermore, their WFO policy is only being followed in India and not in other countries. People from offices outside India are still doing WFH. The strictness is only for Indian employees which is very sad and shows you about their culture and inclusiveness.

Pros

They (usually) pay you on time. IF you are a grad the two year LDP scheme will help your career, just make sure you leave when it ends!

Cons

Truly toxic environment. Senior management reinforce bullying culture passed down from the top. This is hands down the worst place I've ever worked. If someone promises you anything get it in writing and then have a solicitor check the legal meaning, they will screw you if they can. Very high staff turnover (for good reasons) and no one is ever replaced so everyone has to cover their work. I can only assume the few good people who stay have Stockholm syndrome.

Pros

Some very intelligent and talented peers.

Cons

Sadly those employees are almost all wasted in their positions at ION. The group has a long-documented history of buying companies, integrating them poorly, driving out many of the motivated management staff, and paring back the support functions which previously made the businesses run smoothly. Morale was incredibly low across all levels of the business, compounded by a lack of transparency and communication from the C-suite to those executing work. New initiatives are announced and mothballed endlessly, and front line support was either cut or stretched to the point where employees left of their own accord, leaving clients high and dry. Compensation can be adequate, but there are huge discrepancies in salaries between regions, and even in the same office, for people doing the same job.
